Rooms and Rates

WHAT TYPES OF ROOMS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE HOTEL, AND WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THESE CATEGORIES?
 
The different categories of accommodation are as follows:

ARE THE HOTEL RATES PER ROOM OR PERSON?
The rates are charged per room per night for single or double occupancy, and an extra charge of ₹ 3,000/- ++ per night will be levied for an additional person.

WHAT IS THE CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT TIME?
We operate 24 hours use of room policy, which means that whatever time you check-in, you can check out at the same time on the next day. For example, if you check in at 6 a.m., you can check out at 6 a.m. the following day. We suggest informing us about your arrival time one day in advance to ensure your room is ready. The 24-hour use of room policy starts from check-in time, not arrival time.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN STAY IN ONE ROOM?
Each guest room can accommodate a maximum of three (3) adults. Please note that the third person will be charged extra.
 
DO YOU HAVE TWIN, TRIPLE AND QUADRUPLE ROOMS?
We do have king rooms. For the 3rd person, an extra bed at an additional charge can be added. However, no quadruple rooms are available.

DO THE RATES INCLUDE BREAKFAST?
The rates are inclusive of breakfast.
 
IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHECK IN EARLIER?
YES, it’s possible to check in early. Just let us know a day in advance in case of any changes in your arrival time.

CAN I DO A LATE CHECK-OUT?
Yes, it’s possible to do a late check-out subject to the availability of the room if there is no consecutive booking after thatter. Please note that for late check-out under 6 hours, a half day’s charge will be applicable, and if it’s above 6 hours, an additional room night at the regular room rate will be charged.

ARE KING-SIZED BEDS AVAILABLE IN THE ROOMS?
Yes, all our rooms have king-sized beds.

DO YOU HAVE ROOMS WITH A BATHTUB?
No, we do not have bathtubs in the rooms.

DO YOU HAVE NON-SMOKING ROOMS?
All the rooms at the resort are non-smoking rooms.

ARE SAFETY DEPOSIT BOXES AVAILABLE AT THE HOTEL?
All the guest rooms at the hotel have a personal electronic safe.

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS ON GROUP BOOKINGS?

HOW DO I CANCEL MY HOTEL RESERVATION WITHOUT ANY EXTRA CHARGE?
The details of the cancellation policy, terms and conditions are mentioned in the confirmation letter sent at the time of your booking. 
 
Travelling with children

WHAT FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN?
We have an indoor games room with carrom, billiards, Jenga, chess and other board games. We also have an outdoor swimming pool and a play area for the kids. Also, bicycles are available to ride within the property. 
 
Apart from that, we can arrange for a bullock cart ride and a horse ride in the resort. 

ARE HIGH CHAIRS AVAILABLE AT THE RESTAURANT?
No, we do not have high chairs for the children at the restaurant.

WHAT IS THE CHILD POLICY?
Maximum of one child until the age of 10 years can stay with the parents free of charge. The 2nd child will be charged additionally. 

Dining

WHERE IS BREAKFAST SERVED, AND AT WHAT TIME?
The Dock Kitchen restaurant serves a lavish buffet breakfast spread from 6:30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. 
 
With our Breakfast Whenever Wherever facility, you can order breakfast anywhere in the hotel at any time, but with a limited menu. The last order for the same will be taken at 10:30 p.m. 
 
HOW MANY RESTAURANTS AND BARS DO YOU HAVE?
We have two Food & Beverage restaurants; The Dock Kitchen restaurant for all-day dining and Dejabrew Bar. 

IS VEGETARIAN CUISINE AVAILABLE AT THE RESTAURANT?
Yes, we do a selection of vegetarian dishes available at the restaurant and the bar.

IS THERE A SPECIAL MENU FOR CHILDREN?
Yes, we do have a child-friendly menu.

DO YOU HAVE A 24-HOUR ROOM SERVICE?
We do provide room service only till 10.30 p.m.

Resort General Information

CAN I CONNECT MY LAPTOP IN THE ROOM?
Yes. The entire area has complimentary Wi-Fi access, including all rooms and public areas.

IS THERE A SWIMMING POOL IN THE HOTEL?
Yes, we have an outdoor swimming pool, which is familiar to all the guests and is open daily from 6.00 a.m. – 10.00 p.m.
 
IS THERE A FITNESS CENTRE/GYM AT THE HOTEL?
Yes, we do have a well-equipped gym at the hotel. Our fitness centre is next to U Spa and is open daily from 6.00 a.m. – 10.00 p.m.

HOW MUCH PARKING SPACE IS AVAILABLE AT THE RESORT?
The car park can easily accommodate up to 150 cars.
 
DO YOU HAVE A PET POLICY?
Yes, pets are allowed in the resort.

We have designed a policy from our experience of our existing guests & pets’ requirements, which is for the safety, security and memorable vacation of all the guests & pets. Following the policy, we assure you that you and your pet/pets will have a fantastic stay at U Rivergate Resort. 

1) Ensure you carry a disposable bag to take care of the natural call of your pets for a clean environment for other guests.

2) You can take your pet everywhere on the property on a leash except the Lobby, Restaurant, Bar, and Poolside. If the pet is not on a leash, other guests may get scared if they are not pet-friendly.

3) If you need food for your pet, feel free to order the same from the restaurant. Kindly be specific about your food requirements to deliver a suitable dish. We don’t want your pet to be hungry due to a change in taste. 

4) We charge a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2000/- plus taxes per pet/ day towards an extra mattress for the pet and thorough cleaning of the room after the pet has checked out for the comfortable stay of our next guest. 

5) Any damage to room furniture or the property by your pet will be billed to your room and needs to be paid on or before check out. 
 

DO YOU PROVIDE A FREE SHUTTLE BUS/VAN FROM/TO THE STATION AND TO/FROM THE HOTEL?
We regret that there is no free shuttle service available. However, the service can be arranged on a prior request at an additional charge.

HOW DO I GET TO THE HOTEL BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT?
KARJAT has a local Mumbai station of about 12 km.

IS A DOCTOR AVAILABLE AT THE RESORT?
Yes, we can arrange for a doctor on call to come to the hotel, or we can take you to the nearest hospital.

WHAT IS THE CURRENCY IN INDIA?
The currency in India is INR. (RUPEES)

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE AT DIFFERENT TIMES OF THE YEAR? 
KARJAT has pleasant weather all year round, and you can expect heavy rains from June to September.

WHAT’S THE BEST TIME TO VISIT KARJAT?
KARJAT can be visited all year round.
