Rooms and Rates

What types of rooms are available in the hotel and what are the differences between the different categories?

Are your hotel rates per room or per person?

The rates are charged per room per night for single or double occupancy and for an extra person 1500rs++++ per night will be charged.

How can I make a booking?

What is the check-in check-our time?

 We operate a 24 hour use of room policy which means that whatever time you check-in you can check-out at the same time on your date of departure. For example if you check-in at 6 a.m. you can check-out at 6 a.m. when you leave. We highly recommended advising your arrival time one day in advance to ensure that your room is ready upon arrival. The 24 hour use of room policy starts from check-in time not arrival time.

How do I cancel my hotel reservation without a charge?

The details of our cancellation policy conditions can be found in the confirmation letter we send confirming your booking. 

How many people can stay in one room?

Each guest room can accommodate a maximum of three (3) adults. Please note that the third person will be charged extra

Do you offer discounts for a group booking?

Do you have a pet policy?

We regret that animals are not allowed on the hotel premises.

Do the rates include breakfast?

All rates include breakfast.

Is it possible to check-in earlier?

It is sometimes possible to check-in early however this is subject to availability.

Can I have a late check-out?

It is possible to have a late check-out as per room availability. Please note that for late check-outs not over 6 hours a half day’s charge will apply and if over 6 hours an additional room night will be charged at the  regular room rate.

Do you have twin, triple and quadruple rooms?

We do have twin rooms. For triple rooms, an extra bed at an extra charge can be added. However, no quadruple rooms are available.

Are king-sized beds available in the rooms?


Do you have rooms with a bathtub?

No.  We do have cubible shower in all rooms.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?

All rooms are non-smoking rooms.

Are safety deposit boxes available at the hotel?

All guest rooms have a safety deposit box which is available free of charge.

Travelling with children

What facilities are available for children?

We do have games room which have carom, pool table and table tennis for children to play.  Also free bicycle rides are available within the property.

Are high chairs available in the restaurants?

Yes, they are.

What is a child policy?

A child is considered to be 6 years of age and under. A maximum of one child staying with their parents can stay free of charge.


Where is breakfast served and at what times?

A breakfast buffet is served in E.A.T Restaurant between 7:30 a.m -10.30 a.m. After this time you can order breakfast to be served anywhere in the hotel with last orders at 10:30 p.m. 

How many restaurants do you have and what are they?

We have 2 outlets; E.A.T  restaurant for all day dining, and Captain Cook’s bar.

Is vegetarian cuisine available in the restaurants?

A selection of vegetarian dishes are available in all outlets.

Is a special menu available for children?


Do you have 24-hour room service?

No but we provide room service until 10.30 p.m.

General Resort Information

Is there a swimming pool in the hotel?

Our outdoor swimming pool is open daily from 6.00 a.m – 10.00 p.m.

Is there a fitness centre/gym in the hotel?

Our fitness centre next to U Sante Spa and open daily from 6.00 a.m – 10.00 p.m.

How much parking space is available at the hotel?

The car park can accommodate up to 15 - 20 cars.

Do you provide a free shuttle bus/van from/to Mandwa jetty and to/from hotel?

We regret that there is no free shuttle service available. But the service can be arranged at additional charge on prior request.

How do I get to the hotel by public transportation?

State transportation is available from Pune and Panvel; local transport is available from Mandwa Jetty.

Is a doctor available at the hotel?

No but we can arrange a doctor on call to come to the hotel or we can escort you to the nearest hospital. 

Can I get a massage at the hotel?

Yes, you can. U Sante Spa is open daily from 10.00 a.m. – 10.00 p.m.

What is the currency in India?

The currency in India is INR.

Can baggage be stored at the hotel whilst I travel to another location in Alibaug?

Please contact Ur Host who will be happy to arrange this.

What is the weather like at different times of the year?

Best Time to Visit Alibaug: The winter months from November to Feb are best for sight-seeing and outings. Cool winter weather is best suited for relaxation at the clean beaches of Alibaug.

Can I connect my laptop in the room?

Yes. The entire hotel including all rooms and public areas is equipped with complimentary wi-fi.

Shopping and Tourist Facilities

How far is the hotel from the main shopping area?

It is around half an hour drive to the Alibaug market.
