U Hotels & Resorts adds two more properties in India under its management portfolio
Mumbai, India (July 2011) -- U Hotels & Resorts has announced the latest two new properties signed up to manage under its brand which due to complete in 2013.
The U Umargam, under contract with the Ahmedabad based B Nanji Group, will be a luxury U boutique hotel. With 60 Rooms, a 3 meal Restaurant cum Bar, a Lounge Bar, Swimming Pool, Spa & Fitness Centre, Meeting & Event Space and Outdoor activities and games, the hotel will provide a sophisticated setting amidst the rustic charm of Umargam. Expected completion of the hotel will be in second quarter of 2013.
The second property that has been signed on this month is with Delhi based Palmyra Resorts Pvt. Ltd. ‘Acacia’ by U Hotels & Resorts will be an uncomplicated bijoux deluxe hotel for the experienced traveller. Located at Candolim in Goa, the hotel will have 54 Rooms and Suites, a 3 meal Restaurant, a Lounge Bar, a Library, Gymnasium and a Spa. The hotel is expected to be operational by January 2013.
U Umargam will be located about 5 kms away from the main Umargam Town on the Maharashtra side. A quaint, quiet and serene place well connected by road, rail and air both from Mumbai and Ahmedabad, the rustic charm of the place will provide an excellent contrast to the luxury of the hotel.
The hotel will have on offer 45 Superior Rooms, 12 Deluxe Rooms and 3 Suites. The Guest Room designs will unify the rural and urban sensibilities and bring to the guests a unique experience. Inspiring and uncomplicated, the hotel will offer U’s unique concept of service including a 24 hour room policy which will allow guests to enjoy their room for 24 hours from arrival, breakfast whenever/wherever, international and local calls at cost, pre-selection of amenities such as pillow, tea, music and soap that guests will be able to select from the online U Choose programme and more.
‘Acacia’ by U Hotels & Resorts, at Candolim, Goa is located on the main road of Candolim (crossing of Nerul – Candolim intersection) and is just 500 meters from the beach.
The hotel will offer 46 Superior Rooms, 6 Deluxe Rooms and 2 Suites. The Guest Rooms will showcase a stimulating blend of local design accents paired with modern amenities, services and facilities. The U’s unique concept of service will be maintained and provided at this hotel too.
